Short version: if Subedit did not work for you, email us and we refund. Long version below in case anyone is curious.
1. The 14 day window
From the moment of your first paid charge, you have 14 calendar days to ask for a refund. No questions, no negotiation. We refund the amount that was charged to the original payment method.
This applies to both monthly and yearly subscriptions on your first purchase. The window starts at the time of charge, not at signup, since the free plan is unlimited.
2. After 14 days
Past 14 days, refunds become discretionary. We will still consider them on a case by case basis, especially if you ran into a bug, a billing error, or a service outage. Email support and explain what happened.
3. How to ask
Email support@subedit.app from the address tied to your account. Include the order ID if you have it. We will reply within 1 business day.
4. How long it takes
Once approved, refunds typically appear in 5 to 10 business days depending on your card issuer or PayPal balance. We do not control that timing.
5. Annual plans
Within the 14 day window, annual plans refund in full. After the window, we refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis if you cancel mid-year.
6. Promotional pricing
If you bought with a promo or discount code, the refund returns exactly what you paid, not the standard rate. Your locked-in discount is canceled when you refund.
7. Chargebacks
Please email us before opening a chargeback. We always refund within 14 days, so a chargeback is unnecessary and forces us to disable the account during the dispute. If you tried to reach us and didn't hear back, escalate by all means, but try us first.
