Does this only work for Whop clippers?

No. Subedit was built for Whop clippers because that's the workflow with the most pain (daily clipping, audio risk, brief tracking) and we wanted to solve it end to end. But the same workflow works for any short form video. Short form creators, course creators, and agencies all use Subedit. The clipper tools (audio swap, brief tracker) are optional on the Power tier.

Can I turn a long podcast into multiple shorts?

What does cleared audio mean?

Cleared audio is music that's licensed for use in short form social video. When you swap to a cleared track from our pool, your original audio gets muted entirely and the new track takes its place. The license gives you clean rights to the new audio. Platforms can still match content if a pool track was fingerprinted elsewhere, so we don't claim a clip is bulletproof, but you start from a defensible position instead of fighting your original audio. Pool tracks are licensed through Mubert and similar libraries.

When is the Power tier coming?

The Power tier launches alongside the variant export MVP, which is in active build now. The CTA on the pricing page says "Coming soon" until both ship together. Power adds the clipper workflow: three platform export, audio swap from the cleared pool, brief tracker for Whop campaigns, per brief approval rate and RPM memory, and a priority worker on the variant pipeline.

How much cloud storage do I get?

Free gets 1 GB of cloud storage so you can edit on any device. Pro gets 100 GB. Need more on either plan? Connect your own Google Drive for as much room as you have on Drive.
