Quick start
The shortest path from a long video to three platform tuned exports. Aim for under five minutes on your first run.
Hit /signup and use email or Google. Free forever. No card. The free tier covers unlimited shorts, the licensed audio pool, and the three platform export. You only need Pro when you outgrow free.
Drop in a source
Two ways to bring video in.
- Paste a YouTube URL on the dashboard. The Find Shorts step pulls the file through our worker and lands it in the editor.
- Drag any MP4 or MOV onto the editor. Anything up to 4 GB works. Transcription runs in your browser through Whisper so there is no upload cost and no server bill on us.
Cut the clip
Use the timeline to scrub. Drag the playhead, mark the in point and out point, and the clip will be that range. Aim for 30 to 60 seconds. Most paying clipping briefs cap there and the algorithms on all three platforms reward tighter cuts.
Pick captions
The captions render in your browser as you type, edit, or paste a script. Default style is the centered preset at vertical 45, horizontal 50. Swap font, color, or background through the preset gallery.
Swap the audio
Open the Audio tab. Pick a track from the licensed pool. The export will mute the original soundtrack and burn in the new track. This is the only audio change that drops platform fingerprint detection across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
A short note on what that licensing covers. The pool gives you cleared rights for posting to social platforms. It is not licensed for Content ID registration which means you cannot monetize the audio on YouTube as your own track. The license covers posting. Nothing more.
Export to all three
Click Export. Pick Three platforms to get one file each for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts in a single render. Each comes out at 1080 by 1920, H.264, AAC. All three platforms accept the same spec. The render runs in your browser through ffmpeg so a 60 second clip lands in about a minute on a recent laptop.

Schedule the three files at /schedule and read the briefs guide for tracking which campaigns actually pay.
