Subedit runs on a free tier and two paid tiers. This page covers what each tier gives you and how the checkout works.
Free
Free is the starting point and it stays free.
You get unlimited shorts, unlimited captioning, the licensed audio pool, and the three platform export. The editor runs entirely in your browser so we do not have a server cost to pass along.
The cap on free is the AI generated audio tab. Free users see the curated Mixkit library only. The AI generated tracks that fit any mood are the Pro feature.
Free is forever. Not a fourteen day trial that converts. Not a credit card up front. Sign up with email or Google.
Pro
Pro is nine dollars a month or seventy two dollars a year. The yearly billing saves you about a third over the monthly.
Pro unlocks the AI generated audio tab, the brief tracker analytics across more than ten briefs, batch export, and faster render queueing.
You get Pro when you outgrow free. Daily clippers usually hit that point in the second week.
The founders coupon
Use coupon code FOUNDERS at checkout. Fifty percent off years one and two. After that it rolls to seventy two dollars a year at the standard rate.
Thirty two uses total then the coupon stops working. First come first served.
Power tier
Power is on the waitlist. Drop your email at /pricing and we will notify you when it ships.
Power adds the Postiz scheduling integration, Whop OAuth auto import once that ships, and the agency features for clipping community owners running multiple seats.
Regional pricing
If you are in India, Pakistan, South East Asia, Brazil, or Mexico the pricing page automatically applies a regional discount. The banner shows you the local rate and the global rate side by side.
The discount applies forever. Year one, year two, year five. Not a first year promo that resets.
We run this through a service called ParityDeals which detects your country and applies the right coupon at checkout.
Who Lemon Squeezy is
When you pay your card statement will say Lemon Squeezy, not Subedit. Lemon Squeezy is our Merchant of Record. They handle the taxes, the refunds, and the global compliance so we do not have to.
If you want a refund inside fourteen days send us a note and we will process it through Lemon Squeezy. Refund policy is on /refunds.
What we do not charge for
We do not charge per export. We do not charge for caption editing. We do not charge for audio swap from the licensed pool. Browser side Whisper transcription is free. The editor itself runs in your browser so nothing you do there bills you.
What does cost credits
Anything that hits our servers. YouTube import goes through a paid residential proxy. AI clip picker, AI hook title, auto cut, B-roll, and cover image all bill third party AI APIs. We pass those through as credits so you can see what you are using.

Storage
Free gives you 1 GB of cloud storage for your source videos. Pro lifts that to 100 GB. Power lifts it again to 500 GB. The cap protects us from cost runaway and protects you from accidentally uploading more than you meant to. The Pro Plan card on /projects shows live storage usage.
